Lopez Island Cottage

A custom home was designed for a family of five, on a site with an existing old cabin. The cabin was removed and the new home was designed to fit on the existing foundation. New foundation and square footage were added in areas to meet the owner’s needs. Using the existing foundation allowed us to build the new home closer to the shore than what would be allowed with current codes. The cottage was designed to blend in carefully with the natural surroundings, creating a timeless quality that will last for generations.
